Acupuncture is an organized system of diagnosis and treatment that originated in China dated back thousands of years. Acupuncture uses very thin needles on a specific point of the body called the “acu point.” The energy or qi flows through the meridians and works to release any stagnation in the pathway. Scientifically, acupuncture is believed to stimulate the CNS which helps release the body’s natural healing abilities to physical and emotional wellbeing.
